About The Author
Jorge Conde is a 4th grade Math and Science teacher in Elizabeth, New Jersey, as well as a basketball coach, mentor, and community leader dedicated to helping young people grow with confidence and purpose.
Born in Angola and raised in the United States, Jorge's experiences shaped his passion for education, family, and creating supportive spaces where children feel encouraged to dream and succeed.
His children's book, Summer Magic: A Day with Dad, was inspired by his own experience as a father and celebrates the meaningful moments shared between parents and children.
Outside of writing, Jorge continues to serve his community through teaching, coaching, and mentoring, with a mission to inspire children to believe in themselves and their potential.
